How many types of gift cards does the Tao Group Hospitality offer?

• There are two types of universal gift cards available for purchase: The Classic Physical Gift Card and eGift Gift Card.
• For the first time, Tao Group Hospitality is offering a universal gift card which can be purchased and redeemed at any of our participating venues.
• Tao Group Hospitality also issues at its discretion a Complimentary Card in connection with promotions and special offers; as well as a Donation Card which is issued to a charity or non-profit organization.
• The terms and conditions for these cards are listed separately in our FAQ section.
• All previously purchased gift cards before 8/7/19 have automatically been transitioned into Universal Gift Cards and are valid at all participating locations.

For what values can I purchase a Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• Classic Gift Cards can be purchased in any value, up to $2,000.
• eGift Cards can be purchased in any amount ranging from $25- $2,000.

How do I check my balance on my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• Check the balance on your Gift Card in two easy ways:

Can I reload my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• Yes. You can add additional value to your Classic Gift Card at any time, up to $2,000. This must be done at one of Tao Group Hospitality’s participating locations.

What are the terms for use of the Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• Redeemable when presented at any participating Tao Group Hospitality venues worldwide, except as payment for private events, catering or gift card purchases. Cannot be redeemed for cash or credit except as required by law. If lost, stolen or destroyed, to review a card balance, add value, or to see a list of participating venues and our standard terms and conditions, please visit TaoGroup.com/giftcards. Replacement of remaining value on a lost, stolen or destroyed card requires original purchase receipt. Participating venues may be added or withdrawn without notice. Purchase of card is non-refundable and constitutes acceptance of these terms. No expiration date or service fees.

Can you replace my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card if I lose it?

• If lost, replacement of remaining value on a lost, stolen or destroyed Gift Card requires original purchase receipt. Please complete this form HERE and someone from our support team will reply in a timely manner.
• Please protect your Gift Card like cash.

Can I use more than one Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card at a time?

• Yes. There is no limit to how many of our Gift Cards can used at one time.

Can I reach my table minimum by purchasing a Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• No. A Gift Card purchase will not count towards your table minimum.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card to buy a Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card?

• No.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card for tax and gratuity?

• Yes. You can apply your Gift Card to all the items on your check including tax and gratuity.

Do Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Cards expire?

• No. Gift Cards never expire and there are no maintenance or non-usage fees.

If I don’t use the entire amount on my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card, can I use the remaining balance at a later date?

• Yes. The remaining balance on your Gift Card is valid for a future visit at any of our participating venues.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card to pay for private parties and catering events?

• No. At this time, Tao Group Hospitality is not accepting Gift Cards as payment for private events or catering.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card for online tickets, packages, or prepaid table reservations?

• No. For these purchases specifically, Tao Group Hospitality utilizes third parties to process payment and therefore cannot accept a Gift Card as payment.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card the same day it is purchased?

• Yes. You are able to utilize your Gift Card immediately.

Can I use my Tao Group Hospitality Universal Gift Card for delivery orders?

• No. Tao Group Hospitality utilizes third parties to process deliveries and therefore cannot accept a Gift Card as payment.

• Universal Gift Cards are not accepted at international locations. Please check with individual international locations for their gift card offerings.

• Rewards are earned when the Gift Card is redeemed at the venue, not on the purchase of a Gift Card.
• For promotions, such as our seasonal Holiday Bonus Card campaign, the bonus card acts as a discount on the check. Rewards will be earned on the remaining subtotal after discounts.

What is a Bar Card Package?

• This special offer is a bundled package with an admission ticket that grants you VIP dedicated entry and a pre-loaded Bar Card for a specified amount to be used at the event as noted at the time of purchase. Generally, this bundled package saves you approximately 20-30% off retail pricing and provides you with VIP status. Entry before 12 AM midnight for Nightclubs and 1 PM for Dayclubs is highly recommended.

How do I get a Bar Card Package?

• The Bar Card Package is only available for purchase online, in the Concierge Center, and through affiliate links.

Where can I use my Bar Card?

• The Bar Card should be used at the venue & event for which it was purchased.
• Any remaining amount can be used at all Tao Group Hospitality locations within the United States except the following locations DO NOT participate in the program: Hakkasan Miami, Casadonna, Wet Republic, Liquid, JEWEL, Luchini Las Vegas, Stanton Social Prime, Cathédrale Las Vegas, Egghead, Pop-Up Experiences and Suite Sixteen.

How does my Bar Card Package work and what is the pick-up procedure?

• Once you purchase your Bar Card Package online, an e-ticket will be sent to you via email. You will have a special dedicated VIP line for entry. Upon arrival, you will be asked for your e-ticket and your ID to validate your purchase. A pre-loaded Bar Card will be handed to you upon entry into the venue. From there, use your Bar Card for your purchases within the venue.

Do I need to activate my Bar Card?

• There is no need to activate your Bar Card. It will be pre-loaded and ready for use when you pick it up.

Can I give my Bar Card Package to another person if I am unable to use it or can I give it to someone as a gift?

• The Bar Card Package is non-transferrable; therefore, only the credit cardholder is allowed to pick-up all VIP Bar Cards on same order and must present the physical credit card used for purchase as security verification during the pick-up process. A Bar Card will not be distributed to anyone who cannot validate through authorized credentials that they are the actual credit cardholder. If you purchased multiple Bar Cards on same order, anyone in your party will be able to use them once picked-up.

What if I purchase a Bar Card Package and I am unable to attend the event?

• Unfortunately, the Bar Card Packages are NOT REFUNDABLE.  However, if you are unable to attend the event, you will forfeit your VIP Admission Ticket but your VIP Bar Card (which acts just like a Gift Card) will remain valid. The credit cardholder who purchased the VIP Bar Card may e-mail ticketsupport@taogroup.com to request that the VIP Bar Card(s) be made available for pick up on a specified future date. The e-mail must be sent at least 24 hours prior to the specified date for pick up.

Is there a limit to the value placed on the Bar Card?

• Yes, there is a limit to the value placed on the Bar Card. The value is noted at the time of purchase and will be clearly listed on the e-ticket you receive post-purchase.

Can I add more funds onto my Bar Card once the value is depleted?

• No, additional funds cannot be added onto the Bar Card.

What should I do with my Bar Card once the value is depleted?

• Once the value of the Bar Card is depleted, you can discard the card.
